True story. January of 2023 I was visiting New Orleans and took a horse drawn carriage tour of the town. Going down a back road we stop at a stop sign and there is a woman walking on the road towards us. As we start to pass her she stops and waves and points at her face and continues waving. Almost like she was saying “take a photo of me”. All of us on the carriage were looking at her because there was that “she looks familiar” moment and then as we were along side her, I said “wait that’s Amy Schumer” someone else says “oh yeah”. Not a single one of us bothered to take a photo despite having our phones in our hands ready to go. I don’t know why she was there at that time but she was flanked by two large gentlemen (security?) and walking down the road wanting attention. Just a very odd thing for both a “celebrity” to do and for a person to witness. I almost made a joke about it but was afraid she would steal it.

The last line about stealing her joke is obviously some light humor. I did not make a joke about it when I saw her. We all just had a puzzled look on our faces and laughed together for a second. The tour guide had no idea who she was so didn't understand and quickly got back to the tour. Let's all play nice in the comments. Everyone love everyone.
