Have you ever wanted to try trials? Now is your chance. Check out this preview to the Beta USA Try Trails Tour happening in 2024. Beta USA is hosting multiple demo events from coast to coast on a quest to spread the love for trails riding. These demo events are open to the public and for all skill levels, even first-timers like us!

Associate Editor, Will Embree and Test Rider, Carter Dubach head out to the Try Trials Press Demo located at Moto Ventures for their first time ever aboard a trials machine. This event is a preview of how Beta USA will be running their public demo days throughout the tour.

The Beta team starts the day with a verbal presentation on what to expect and the rules of trails competition. All participants choose a Beta EVO200 or EVO250 trials bike for the practice session. Past champions and current pro riders joined for support and training. After the practice session, Beta puts on a mock competition on a 5 loop trials course. Each loop is unique and progressively gets a little more technical.

Overall it's just about having fun and learning new techniques.

Check out this video to get a first look at the 2024 Beta USA Try Trials Tour.

Cool video. Great to see the feedback from a couple of MX guys after the demo day. Carter looked good in that last clip at the end of the video; he's looking up at where he's heading next instead of having his eyes glued to the ground in front of him. I'm 51 now and completely hooked. Wish I had started sooner. Do yourselves a favor and don't buy a 300 to start. Trials Progression did a great interview with Ray Peters (the guy punching the card in this video) on the different bike sizes (125/200/250/300) and which models would be the best fit for the majority of riders. Hint: it's the 200 or 250 standard evo. Have fun!
