Got snowed in living in my car!!

New Englander here...If you can open your DOOR without "pushback", it's not deep. Clean the car off and move to a hotel parking lot, because they clean their lots more regularly. No matter what you do, don't sit in the car with the car running during a storm, a young lady in Buffalo, NY died in 2022 because she was stuck in her car while it was running, the snow rose up to cover the exhaust pipe, causing her to die of Carbon Monoxide. It's ok to book a hotel room for a few days of a snow storm to stay safe & alive.

I been living in my car, moving from an apartment in Atlanta to a Mercedes in Los Angeles and I love it. It’s going on 4 years this summer of 2025. I have a refrigerator and microwave in the office at my job, and there is a 24 hours’ restroom/shower facility in DTLA. My journey to homelessness begin during Covid-19 when I made history as the second Black then to qualify as a real estate fund manager via RegA-+ Tier II by the SEC. Covid-19 on the economy destroyed my fundraising and stock sales. Being rejected by venture capitalists and private equity, I had to make a sacrifice to live in my car to save money for my proptech & fintech business (building & financing smaller homes). Now, over these nearly 4 years, I have saved the down payment for a land and construction loan being homeless in Los Angeles.

I wish I was as brave as you. I have so many dreams of living in my car and traveling the country!!! I'm currently fighting Glioblastoma (stage 3 brain cancer) if I beat this, or should I say, when I beat this, I am going to do it. Hey Nate. 👋🏼Try to park in a lot if it’s heavy snow weather. On the side of the road you could literally get buried by the snow plows🚚. If you do get buried in snow🌨️🌨️🌨️…Keeping one of those long umbrellas in your car 🌂 with the long point can be poked up ⏫️ through the snow to signal for help. Snow muffles sound and most likely nobody will hear you yelling especially not from inside their house or business.❤

Not sure if you keep your car running for heat but please make sure the tailpipe is clear of snow!!! It'll push carbon monoxide into your car if it's not!! Please be careful
