Respect to the mark 6 for being able to still fly faster than the quinjet after being severely damaged.

One neat thing I noticed a while back about the Mk. VII as opposed to the Mk. VI is that now it features jet boosters in his back to stabilize his flight, leaving his hands completely free for offense instead of constantly having them pointed downward to stabilize his levitation.

Phase 1 Iron Man suits were the best. They always felt real. MK VII is my personal favorite.
From Phase 2 on, especially in Age of Ultron, the armor CGI was far more noticeable. They still looked good, but just not as real or tangible.
EDIT: rewatching Civil War, the MK XLVI suit is also pretty good especially at the end in Russia but I still think the Phase 1 suits were the best

The cinematography in 2012's avengers was amazing. Every shot felt like it was real life. That quality hasn't been since in the MCU imo

Imagine casually flying into the city and then hovering more than 80 stories in the air as the repulsor jets on your Mark 6 armor have repeated short failures.

I like the MK6 thrusters flickering, the unit is barely holding on. What a trooper.

*Mark VII*

Pros: First suit with an integrated thruster pack allowing Tony to use his repulsors more freely during combat, able to form onto Tony within 10 - 15 seconds upon deploying the suit.

Cons: Can fly in space for a very short time before automatically shutting down its systems.

Weaponry: Most of the previous weaponry from the Mark VI as well as multi-use wrist mounted lasers, thigh mounted rockets, a replacement weapon was also added in place of the shoulder mounted cannons which is now replaced with shoulder mounted miniature missles, additional waist mounted flares.

Loki's such a weakling when measuring up to the other asgardians, but next to a regular human like Tony he's super strong.

Looking at the Mark 7 and the Mark 5, it seems like the latter was a prototype of the former.

Other great ones were Infinity War, Civil War, and Ultron
