I had the privilege of meeting him years ago. I’ve always been a fan of his! From smaller roles in movies like Remember the Titans to his large roles in Crazy Stupid Love and The Notebook, I think he’s always had an onscreen charisma.

Sometimes meeting celebrities is a big let down. They’re human beings, after all. But he was so kind. He showed interest when I spoke, and he didn’t have that “do you know who I am” pretentious demeanor that a lot of his peers have. I don’t know him personally but based off that one interaction and clips like these, he seems to be a genuinely nice person. I’m happy for his success and I think he deserves all the adoration he gets!
