It's so disappointing to not see Support for JPEG XL, the definitive image format.
Google decided to deprecate the format and don't address the LARGEST factor in page load times, images! JPEG XL has progressive decoding that is the holy grail for images on the web.
Support for JPEG XL is the second-most "starred" issue in the history of the Chromium project. And yet Google decides that there isn't enough community interest.
