For those looking to improve their listening skills ("softening the ear", as we use to say), a fluid, neutral accent and perfect speech narrator was the late Peter Thomas, who can be listened to in many documentaries, like Forensic Files and Medical Detectives here in YouTube. Those are 20-minute episodes including testimonials from people of different places in the USA, so the listener can hear the difference between an elegantly-spoken narration and the casual, almost slangy speech of ordinary people. Excuse me Gabbie, if this draws some traffic away from your channel, I really think it wouldn't, tho...

Thanks for your video. I'm french and I Never understand why english people don't pronounce all the sound and syllabes in their words. I also noticed that some letters like the "t" are not pronouced either. You are the first person who explains us how to understand that.
