Automated Snow Removal For Trucks

Scraper System by Rite-Hite is an automated snow removal system. When the truck stops just underneath the unit, the snow plow blade is lowered onto the roof and when the truck continues driving all snow from the top of the truck is cleared.

Looks like a great invention for places that get lots of snow. In UK though (apart from north and Scotland) we don’t get enough snow to warrant such a machine. People in UK complain when it snows that we don’t have any snowploughs but they are too expensive to buy just to be used for one or two weeks in a year.

Be nice if it can have heating system as well for the ice. Ive seen ice sheets slide iff hitting cars behind them. Great idea.

This should be in every country that deals with snow and should also be a law that trucks are to be cleaned before heading onto the road.
