This Is How I Overcome the Fear of Death

"You are afraid of dying and you are afraid of living, what a way to exist!"
- Neale Donald Walsch

A topic that remains taboo, but it is also something from which no one will escape. Everything that is born must die, everything that begins ends. So, I encourage you to live the life you've always dreamed of; you deserve it.

Victoria, I came from the Gregs channel...I cant belive you 2 separated, I cant belive he left. I was 100% sure after I saw your 1year video, that he will understand, that he found not only a friend, but someone who can stand almost whatever with him. But as I saw he doesn't understand it. Life has very weird turns. Be careful, watch yourself, be safe and happy. I wish you the best

Hi, brave girl! First, I always try to travel in a company, so if you'll meet one, use the opportunity. Second, sometimes I traveled solo, and when I cycled alone, I always tried to find places to sleep that nobody sees. I recommend you to do the same. Most people are good, but there are weird and annoying people also – so better not to give them a chance to disturb your good sleep. Also, use more of WarmShowers and CouchSurfing to stay more at homes of community. And good luck.

I love your videos. your vulnerability is mesmerizing. I'm retired now and for me building trails on my property and bike packing are my joys in life. Death is something I see coming closer but it never becomes an overpowering thought. Keep listening too your instincts they will keep you safe.

Orale!!!! Proud of ya kid! As a Mexican born now living in Chicago, , , you inspired me young lady! I’m nearly 60 years old and have done multi day camping trips but mostly with a friend. I have the Empire trail in New York on my bucket list but haven’t found someone else to do it with. But now you inspired me to go ahead and give solo trip a try! Muchisimas gracias señorita! Safe travels!

Thank you for making this video! I did my first solo back country camping trip last spring and I had similar fears. I was afraid men would know I was alone and I was also afraid of bears! I faced both of those fears while I was out there. Watching you do the same made me emotional. What a beautiful turn of events from terrifying to heartwarming. Keep it up. Sending love from Canada 🍁

Sending lots of love back! Really enjoying the internal and external journey you’re on.

Keep being brave. The fears are the only way you know you’re living. Whilst you have your heart set on living this journey, listen to your instincts!

Ana, you are a bright, intelligent, positive young woman. Don't let negative thoughts enter your mind. Always think of the good in everyone. Positive attracts positive.

Having bikepacked for years as a solo female rule nbr 1 is: always camp where no one most likely will see mee. Getting out of the road to a path when the road is empty etc. In your case camping out of town would’ve likely saved you from this unpleasant experience. I get it that you rode into town without planning but the worst place to stay is an exposed area in a town environment where there’s enough coverage for someone with ill intentions to harm you. I’m glad it all ended well, as we are women it’s vital to develop a survival instinct to always think the worst scenario that could take place before setting up the tent. In the forest I myself feel the safest, not many weirdos there
Safe travels ❤

Your reflections on life and death remind me deeply of Kaspar Hauser. I believe our minds are empty from the beginning, blank slates that we fill with the books we read, the ideas we absorb. What I mean is, all your musings on life and death, your quotes from Epictetus… they aren’t truly yours. They’re borrowed, external, things that have become part of you, but they are not you. There is no authentic you or "I", only recycled thoughts wearing the mask of personality. Personality is just a convincing performance of borrowed concepts.

Great episode! And you met so wonderful people. Yes, when traveling solo, there can be scary moments. I was feeling with you. But it took a good turn. A wonderful one, indeed. Keep going and live your dream. Suerte!

It’s not only women, I sometimes get terrified by what happens at night and who will just show up at all hours and do strange things. Over the years I have learned how to camp in spots where no cars can go
