As a first time voter I really appreciate your channel! It’s scary that this election has so much on the line. I worry about my disability income being reduced, my reproductive rights taken away, and my rights as a queer person being taken away. Project 2025 is terrifying for so many humans and I’m going to be beyond devastated if Trump manages to win.

I am a young Gen-X and DNC Delegate. As someone who grew up in NorCal when VP Harris was a prosecutor, I would like to provide some historical context. Recall that we were still in the D.A.R.E. and Tough on Crime Drug War days. It is, therefore, difficult for me to fault someone for doing the job she was told to do in a culture that promoted the job being done that way. At the time, if she did not prosecute pot crime, she would have been removed and replaced. It is just the way the US was at that time. Agreeing or disagreeing with the policy now is irrelevant. It was the requirement of the times. I have never supported the Nixon-era War on Drugs and thought the D.A.R.E. scare tactics were dumb. The fact that VP Harris' position has evolved with the times should bolster our confidence that "that was then, this is now."

I am a 60-year-old independent voter and I voted for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the primaries and I am so glad that Joe decided to step down and let a younger generation step forward.
