Daily Devo | What Is the Purpose of the Law? (1 Timothy 1:8-11)

In the previous verses, Paul called us to focus on our true calling to love rather than being distracted by less important concerns. Does that mean that we can discard other parts of the Bible, such as the Ten Commandments? Not at all! We need to attend to such warnings that we might be veering off God's path but they are not the path itself. The path is to follow Jesus together, receiving and sharing God's love.
