Other than binding and pickup covers and Maple neck i think is a bonus there is no difference between the Gibson standard tribute Sg and the Gibson standard Sg..same electronics same hardware same 490 Alnico II humbuckers so the Gibson standard tribute Sg $1, 300 and the Gibson standard sg $1, 700 where's the $400 difference?

You have to put grovers on the 61, believe me.The plastic machine hesds slip. What was a 68?

Maybe someone here can help me. I love the SG standard, the tone and the look are perfect. However, the neck feels weird to me (61 version is even worse for my wrist). Any suggestions? Budget is around $2k.
