I feel like I'm looking into a mirror. I'm from Austria and just returned from a 3 week trip to Australia. I used an American Tourister too as well as packing cubes, and my main shoes were Sambas, lol.

I had the opposite problem with the packing tho. I didn't have enough clothes, thank god for laundry services in hotels. So I had barely enough room in my suitcase to bring heaps of Vegemite and Cherry Ripes home with me ❤

Probs too late now 😅 but deffo only pack what you can carry around, most European countries (especially ones people go for holidays) are cobbled, narrow, windy lanes, lots of stairs, lots of pedestrian only areas
