Interesting door latch, back in the 80s & 90s, I worked security, both in installation of burglar and fire alarms, keyless entry, telephone & Intercoms etc, and when the armed security guys didn't want to work holidays, I volunteered to work their shifts at Christmas and so on, I was on triple time pay, I learned a lot of things that most people never heard of, and never will as it's not common knowledge, if you need any help with thing like this, I'll be glad to pass on some info, although not in this forum, Thanks for the video, I enjoy all of them. 👊 😎

A PSA to my less tech savvy gun men: I highly advise you do not use biometrics over a passcode, as the police can force you to unlock biometrics at gunpoint without a warrant, but they can not force you to provide a passcode legally. Also, many of these electronic locks can be readily bypassed/tampered with by using simple tools like a strong magnet or a phone (if it's wifi connected), so keep that in mind too. Especially if it's to keep out kids. I know you said this isn't meant to be particularly secure in your case, just as an FYI.

I would put a dead-bolt lock on that closet. I seen stacks of ammo cans in there...😎 Or convert that closet into a walk-in safe. Another great video Brian!..😎 Something different...✌☢
