It's pretty funny to think about how from Akus perspective, he thought he only sent Jack 10 seconds into the future

It took Jack 50 years to return to the past and destroy Aku. For Aku it took 12 seconds.

Samurai Jack if Jack immediately stabbed Aku and never let him finished his sentence: 📝

Unfortunately, Aku's death led to the greatest hurt Jack ever suffered.

Rewatching this it's interesting how much softer Jack's voice became over time.

2:05 bruh that epic frown of sheer disgust after jacks righteous speech is just such a perfect representation of Aku's character, little details like this is what makes this show so great!!

who dares to summon the master of masters. the deliver of darkness the shogun of sorrow? AKU!

Yeah, even though Aku was ultimately slain by Jack's hand after fifty years of being stuck in an era where the dark lord was ruling the world, he still won, even in death. So yeah, Jack's victory wasn't won without sacrifice, without consequence. Even still, Ashi pretty much was the catalyst of her dad's demise, but she paid for it after she felt his presence vanish from within her being.

Battle Through Time gave the fans the ending they wanted, but my pet peeve was how they re-recorded the audio another time. The original in the finale was already good imo and I loved hearing Jack yell out “No More” as he stabs the sword into the ground

Also something to notice is when jack returns the sword is ALOT more powerful.
Like when in the fight first round he only mostly just got cut. second, he starts disintegrating from contact with the blade outwards.

I'll be honest with you all. Ever since aku's voice actor passed away in the 2000's, the new aku was good but it never felt like the original. Ever since Muriel Bagges was gone, like was a whole lot different without those people and it still is sad without them.

Way to go, Jack! Aku will never hurt anyone ever again.

This video makes you realize how much damage Jack had to give Aku in order to finish him off. Im curious to know why stabbing the ground was the key to kill him

I love Aku's reaction to Jack's immediate attack, like, "Wait dude wtf stop" because Future Jack is completely different from Past Jack. Past Jack monologues throughout the fight and the whole thing feels like the culmination of a fairy tale, while Future Jack has lived through 50 years of Aku's oppression and is ready to absolutely fuck Aku's shit up. Future Aku says "Oh no" because he knows that his past self is just as monologue-y as Jack once was, and stands no chance against Future Jack, who has experienced 50 years of character development and actual combat experience.
So when Jack shows up and attacks, Aku is like "What the hell, dude, monologue or something!" And his attacks are really sloppy and easy to counter because he just sucks at fighting, the only reason Jack originally struggled against him was because he was holding back and wasn't exactly super great at combat either, so he gets put down in two microseconds by this absolute beast.
If you think about it, sending Jack to the future was probably the dumbest thing Aku could have done with the last of his power. It's basically the ultimate procrastination, and if it fails, you are completely fucked because your opponent lived more years than you did XD
