here’s a little vlog of a day in my life weekend edition! weekends i believe are never really a time for relaxing because i have so many chores to do to prepare for the following week.

today was huge for me - i finally went to a PROFESSIONAL hairdresser after 5 YEARS! yes you heard that right - the last time i got my hair cut was during my sister’s wedding in 2019. truth be told ive been embarrassed this whole time to go to a professional to get my hair cut as i ended up developing seborrheic dermatitis which is a skin condition that causes scaly patches and red skin on the scalp. i never had this issue growing up but in the past few years I’ve developed seb derm along with eczema which has stunned me and made me ashamed and less confident in so many ways. to make up for my hair overgrowing i used to take kitchen scissors and chop it off myself but ive been trying to make small progress with my mental and physical help and decided to step out and finally give myself some TLC that i deserve. The hairdressers were very lovely, kind and friendly and made me feel at ease and comfortable so thank you @chdjesmond for looking after me 🫶🏼🫶🏼

we also ended up going to big w to get a new hair brush and a blender - my husband ended up wanting a nutribullet hence the switch up in the video in case you noticed 😅🫣😋 also went to woolworths to do our weekly grocery shop!
