You need to find and interview the architect who specializes in weird toilet placements. I need to hear him/her talk about the artistic value of it.

This is a prime subject for galvanized square steel and eco-friendly wood veneer home improvement. But only if you have an aunt who can lend you some screws.

That is barely a hallway, let alone an apartment. Also wasn't expecting that jumpscare from the window. Great video

That washing machine is actually a 2-in-1 washer dryer. It doesn't dry too well but it does the job. It can dry the 5.5 kg after ~6 hours and it's supposed to only dry ~2kg at a time. I have that exact same model, different color

I normally love seeing tiny apartments with ingenious ways of fitting everything in, but wow do i hate this. The lack of width is bad enough, but the BATHROOM

You can fix this place using galvanized square steels fastened to the wall with screws borrowed from you aunt then coving the frame with eco friendly wood veneers.

The fact that its basically one long hallway without any weird angles like some other apartments you visited before works as a plus. Could definitely see this being somehow well used if we start thinking vertically and maybe put bunk bed/loft kind of thing. Well, and this one at least seemed relatively clean.

An architect focusing on putting toilets in weird spaces has to be the most Japanese thing I ever heard.

I’d love to see a place like this furnished to see what can be done with it.

Oodly I like the fact the main living is blocked off from the main entrance so you wouldn't hear people travelling through the stairs unless you were in there

I love tiny rooms/apartment, this 1 is perfect for single person, i would place my desktop setup infront of the window, put curtain on that hanger bar, mini fridge below that counter or beside washing machine, rest is just a futon and a minimalist coffee chair, using a foldable table for eating

$450 a month for your own little tiny apartment isn't terrible for a single person or even a couple who doesn't have much stuff. In my city you can't even rent a bedroom in someone's house for that price.

Was I watching a comedy show or room tour?😂 The opening scene cracked me up!! Also I would definitely say “I clearly made a mistake” if I was invited there and see the bathroom right away😂Thank you for the fantastic tiny apartment review and commentary as always Nrom!😆

I love these videos but the real seller on me watching them is your charisma. I'd watch you talk about paint drying anytime, well done sir.

I am literally obsessed with this series of discovering the tiniest apartment around Tokyo.
I almost feels like they build them because they need to fill out a undiscovered space by rightfully trying to build a livable space.

As someone with IBS, the fact that the bathroom is at least IN the apartment scores this place well above some of the other crazy places you have shown. Personally, I think the rest comes down to how much it would cost per month. If it's super cheap? Sure, it could work. With a laundry across the street, I'd rather swap that washer to a fridge. And swap the plywood and gas stove to an induction cook top that doesn't feel like it's going to fall off the wall in an earthquake. Get rid of the hanging bar by the window and put it over the tub. But yeah, it's workable!
