Accoring to a friend of mind that I bought a pair of Panda Dunks from, rumor's been spread long that "fakes" are the original that did not pass the "Quality Test" and they used the same premium materials as the original, they were just dumped because they were deemed unworthy to be sold. But jokes on them, there are many warehouses and factories around the world that still manufactures and distributes them.

They are known as OEM shoes or Original Equipment Manufacturers. Basically, companies buy materials from these suppliers to make 'em. That is also why there are those slight differences to tell you that they were not originally manufactured and sold by companies, but independent manufacturers.

I also compared by Panda Dunks to my cousin who has them which they bought from a Nike retailer store and there's actually no difference at all when looked at side by side. They just told me that they look like they're the ones that bought a fake pair. Lol.

Did you label them wrong when showing the top angle on them? “Fake” on the left shoe which is the REAL one, and “Real” on the right shoe which is the FAKE one lol. Made me confused cause the details seem to have gotten mixed up as well when describing the tongue.

got a pair off of a uk based site. is the quality on the shoes really that bad?? see lots of glue and frayed stitching across the whole shoe. not unhappy but i just want to know that they are authentic.

I don’t care about buying fakes. These shoes used to be reasonably priced when I was in high school, now resellers have driven prices out of control. The retail shoes are already made in China for approx. $16 dollars so it’s not like I’m missing out on anything if I buy fakes from China at $16 dollars. Same materials, same people making them. The only places that try and push this narrative of its bad to buy knockoffs are those who drove the price up in the first place. I can afford the reseller price. But I will not reward resellers and the retail shoes are not worth the inflated prices.

The easiest way is just look at the heel part curve. If is curving all the way down is likely to be legit. If u got a fake that got that curve. Likely u got the Most high end clone. And if u cant get ur money back is not thr worst case
