Like having Sif and Doom Reed is a good cast different toward the regular 616 universe that it’s great.

More out there line up is need for this universe

Honestly this entire storyline should’ve been ultimate invasion issue 5 because you can tell this story picks up where that series left off immediately.

I think I would add points if we were getting an Ultimates or Avengers book. I did like it but I will say the preview of Ultimate X-men in the back did more to win me over then the main issue.

A new universe and yet Tony Stark is still Iron man with a palette swap, Thor is still blond and not a red head which would have been different yet cool I think. Why couldn’t Captain America be anyone else besides Steve? This feels more of the same.

I like this rogue Thor instead of a king with lots asgardian affairs in his story (I like that more in the main thor btw). I kinda miss the techno thor in the old ultimates though.

If I am being honest the main marvel universe should have do the rebirth like this with the new ultimate universe that hickman is doing.

But I am looking foward to how he works his magic for this ultimate universe which it seems that he is blending both the ultimates and the MCU together for this.

Very odd issue. Liked Thor's energy and call to arms but its weird that Captain America is still stuck in the ice by the end of the issue. This issue effectively assembles a new team of Ultimates yet there is no Ultimates book among the starting books. Ultimate Spider-Man is the first book we are getting yet no direct tease of Spider-Man despite getting a tease for Armor(Ultimate X-Men) and Ultimate Black Panther.

Ultimately we didn't get a ton of new info that wasn't already given to us prior to this issue releasing. Its gonna be a long wait til January.

The biggest selling point of the original Ultimate line was the LACK OF BAGGAGE. It was a fresh introduction to classic characters that required no homework, making it easy for new readers to jump onboard.

This sounds like the exact OPPOSITE, with ties to a preceding miniseries and a major villain whose convoluted backstory is strongly tied to both the original Ultimate Universe and the standard 616 universe.

Think I’m gonna pass on this one.

I really wanted to like this, but I didn’t. All-New Ultimate Thor was cool, but I didn’t like Maker’s Cabal basically nuking New York. They just made this universe and are already pulling a version of Ultimatum. Plus why is Ultimate Reed still dressed like Doom? They never explained that. The Ultimate Invasion miniseries left me cold, and now with this, I’m less excited for this universe.
