I’m obviously somewhat biased as a Scot. but I’ve been saying for 2 years that imo, Ben Doaks (if he stays clear of serious injuries) will end his career as one of Scotland’s greatest ever players (big statement I know).

Scotland have a plethora of decent, technically sound players that play in top tier leagues, but what we DON’T have, and haven’t had since the 90’s, some might say the 80’s, is a Top Tier Forward, a real world class threat. These smaller populated European Countries that have punched above their weight in recent times have all had that one player up top that turns losses into ties, and close games into wins. And most certainly, without question, THAT is what one needs in a short format tournament.

I feel we finally, FINALLY have that in Wee Ben. Following Middlesbrough now due to Ben (also have an old RN buddy who’s one of ur lot). Would love to get Middlesbrough fans thoughts on him this season so far, specifically ~ How’s the end product, improving?

Great win; however Carrick has to start putting on subs on a lot earlier, 75-80 minutes is far too late, especially going for that win and it will cost us.

Don’t get exited they played third from bottom and struggled yes they won 4.1 but the same mistakes are there and not going away anytime soon and it may cost us …..again.
