I just put this on my Slash Ultimate to prevent exactly what happened to yours. I also added the larger Slipper clutch set up. The hardest part for me was pulling the RPM sensor out because you have to pull the connector from the ESC. They really stuff that ESC box with wires. I didn't have any small zip ties, so invested in a 100 pack from the hardware store( cheaper than a small pack from the hobby shop). Now I have to go through the axle as it is leaking grease. Other than that, The part fit really well and you should go through your vehicle every season anyways. Good video over all.

Keep it up bro also I just put hot racing spur gear and esc fan and heat sink twinfan and I did top speed was 42.6 mph on 3s

For an aluminum motor mount, I would suggest getting the mount from King Headz. That one uses an oversized bearing for extra durability. And it's about the same price as the Traxxas one

I had to file a bit on the metal Traxxas motor plate it was a mill or 2 off from the hole in trans mount . Great how to 🙏

It will definitely help dissipate heat from the driveline and the motor as well 👍 And if you already have the diff out of the car, it’s always good practice to check the internals since your there anyways. Could save you some trouble 😁

What motor and efc did you end up putting in here again? Did you run the larger motor.
