I worked at a five below for a little over five and a half years, I can say that some items are ok. I got a good Bluetooth speaker I use everyday, and some fun toys and a few other things. But the company decided to raise the prices in like 2018 or 2019. Most tech went to either 5.25 and up to 5.95, though most of the above 5.00 stuff is deemed five beyond. It's ok, but it's also hit and miss.

Man, Austin reminds me of playing WoW back in the day. The elitism and almost aggression towards people on a budget, or gifts for kids or whatever. The microphone is a great example - my 12 year old would probably love that thing. No idea on the speakers since that'll never go through a video well.

I don't know... Something about this show just feels like it's "How much of an a--hole can I be" instead of "Hey, is this thing actually worth $5 or is it a box of rocks?"

i go to five below all the time great store. and I will say that mic is actually not as bad as I thought it would be
