2 staying power updates regarding the foundation...
*On this day, the foundation was only set in the under-eye & t-zone areas. I didn't think the foundation looked great by day's end. Granted, I'd been at a playground in 85ish degree heat, but I thought my pores and any skin texture looked a lot more apparent. It just wasn't as nice & fresh as it looked in the video.
*The next day, I tried setting my face all over (lightly) - I used my Maybelline Superstay powder, and basically the same face routine otherwise. It lessened the glow of the foundation a little bit, but I kept it light. Once again worn in the heat- and it looked significantly better at the end of the day. More smooth and even. The takeaway- setting all over (even lightly) helps! Especially in the summer heat.

This was such a happy and fun video! First of all, congrats to Tyler on his new practice. How exciting for him and all of you!! And that's so cool that he's going to make his own office furniture. My father-in-law was a wood worker by trade, did cabinetry, tables, etc., as well as abstract wood sculptures for art shows. My brother-in-law is also a wood worker by trade. Loved seeing Bitty as always! You guys are watching the shows of my childhood in the '70s. Both Little House and The Waltons were faves. I liked the sass of Mary Ellen, the humor of Grandpa, and related to John-Boy because he wanted to be a writer (like me!), lol. As for the makeup, I was really excited for your reviews, especially of the Soft Glam Satin Foundation. I am thinking this will be great for the cooler months like fall and winter. I love how smoothly it seems to apply. Very intrigued by many other e.l.f. products you demo'ed, Em! Have you tried the Sun Boss Gloss. That's My Jam looks like a pretty berry color!

YES.. enjoying the founation too.. use the elf primer liquid ( dupe of tacha) and lightly set with kosas powder...win! The lippie at the end look sooo beautiful too! I tried the new lippie with SPF and also was blown away with the coverage too! Fun when ELF products are such an affordable and quality win! Enjoy!
