That certainly is a secure storage room. Would like to have one like that in my house.

I built a car wash with this stuff, called extrutech panels. Basically the same thing in the video, extruded vinyl. Pretty easy to install for the most part. The longer panels (30 ft) weren't perfectly straight, so getting the joints tight wasn't the easiest.

Finally, another application for Trusscore! I always figured that the only place I would ever install it is a laundry or other wet room, or maybe an indoor playground.

Storm rooms can easily end up becoming store rooms without enough room for people seeking shelter. One compromise is to use it for a pantry or to use it to store things like important records, family photos, and other things you would like to see survive a disaster that cannot be replaced with money.

Call it what you want they’re basically vinyl T&G fence boards.

Wall board are designed to go vertical for drainage if it ever floods out. But this will work. Next time use inside cove corners. Gives nice rolled inside corner and easier to pull out with your finger to get board to go inside.

If I was building a "storm room" with concrete walls I'd probably want one of those steel doors with the integrated locking mechanism that deploys bolts outwards along every edge. Very common in some parts of the world.

We put up tons of truss core.. Great in wet locations

I would like to see you integrate the shelving panels that go with trusscore to see the transition process but maybe next time.
Thanks 🙈🙉🙊

Wow! Cool product! Available only in white and gray?

That is the smoothest finish I've ever seen on a door using a roller and brush. Did you use a cabinet refinish paint kit or something? :)

Where are you out of? Would love to work for you. Work is cleann
lukecadogan
It looks like a might work for trailer skirting too.

Sheet rock is fireproof. Is Truss core? I don't think so.
rossfelton
Trusscore is insanely expensive compared to alternative materials like drywall.
RandySRT
Wonder what the fire rating is on this stuff?

Errrr storm room where the door opens inward? Ouch. In Florida we learned to make our doors open outward to make it harder for storm winds to push them in.

You are the real deal my friend! I dream of having this much expertise and knowledge in a trade. All of the decisions and hard work that led up to your skillset is definitely something not everybody thinks about. I respect it! God bless

I install this product everywhere it's much easier to cut with a circ saw

My plumber friend in the UK said that truscore is popular for bathroom ceilings in the UK . It's good against moisture issues. Easy to take down and replace for ceiling access to bathroom plumbing above.
