iPhone 12 Pro Max - Genshin Impact 2.0 FPS Test with Black Shark Magnetic Cooler vs No Cooler!

Since it was highly requested, I decided to purchase the new Black Shark Magnetic Cooler that released June this year. In this video ill be doing another Genshin Impact FPS test to see how this iPhone 12 Pro Max performs when using a cooler. Essentially, better thermals equates to better FPS performance; however, the real question is by how much. As usual, I will show real-time FPS overlay over gameplay for those interested in tracking results. Last, I will also show FPS, GPU, Power consumption, and thermals for both with and without this magnetic cooler for this iPhone 12 Pro Max. Definitely check out the end of this video to see the difference in performance results with and without this cooler.

Tech Jargon:

SOC - A system-on-a-chip is a microchip with all the necessary electronic circuits and parts for a given system, such as a smartphone or wearable computer, on a single integrated circuit

CPU - Central Processing Unit. The processor is the "brain" of a device. It's what handles the instructions of software apps. All phones have a processor of some kind. it may be integrated into the main cell phone chip, or be a separate computer chip.

GPU - Graphics Processing Unit. The part of a device's circuitry that handles the display and animation of visual elements. GPU usually handles all mobile gaming.

GeekBench 5 - is a cross-platform benchmark that measures your system's CPU performance with the press of a button.

3DMark Wild Life Extreme - a more demanding cross-platform benchmark for comparing the graphics performance of mobile computing devices.

Get well soon from COVID Dame. I was going to ask if you could do a gaming test on Xcom 2 as at max it’s made to harness 4GB Ram iPhones to max with its Graphics setting, but I’ll test it once I get the iPad 2021 in December because it honestly doesn’t look nearly as GPU intensive with its Graphics as Divinity. My guess is it runs as 50-60% it’s GPU and 20% CPU

Sidenote: Feral is planning to port Alien Isolation to iOS this December.. and with the overall M1 iPad power, I’d expect it to look like either the Switch or the ps3 as this iPad is more power than both
