The tricky thing with learning languages isn't that much how to learn the second, third, fourth, fifth language etc. I see this myself as a language teacher with teaching English to beginners that for lack of exposition to learning languages really have a tough time with getting basic concepts right, even more in a world where English is basically taken for granted. Once you are into learning a second foreign language, you have aquired already some skills. It's the same with musical instruments. The more you can play, the easier it gets. I speak five foreign languages at intermediate to advanced levels.
