*By functional I mean you can comfortably swing or carry it **bestgym.equipment** around as one would expect of a kettlebell weight. By versatile I mean the protective coating does not prevent attaching magnetic micro-plates to increase the weight, so, for example, a 35 pound kettlebell can be increased by up to 5 pounds in weight or possibly a bit more by attaching magnetic micro-plates.*

I love how this really is a pure kettlebell workout. It's not a weird cardio vid that only uses kettlebells 30% of the time. The kettlebell was used the whole time.

If there are any JRE fans trying this one, I think this one is a lot better for kettlebell beginners than the Kettlebell Cardio Workout they sell on OnnIt. The Instructional hints about how to correctly do the movements are awesome. I will definitely be coming back to this one.

This is definitely suitable for women, too! Strong looks good on women! Don't be intimidated, you can start with a light weight and work your way up as you get comfortable with the movements and perfect your form.

I wanted a quick, sweaty workout, so this kettlebell routine was perfect. I used a 25lb kettlebell and did fine. Thanks again, FitnessBlender -- because sometimes it's a hassle to get to the gym!

I've been using this workout for a couple years and it still kicks my ass. When one weight got too easy I just got a heavier kettlebell. Messing around with the 40lb one and that's good enough for me for now lol.

The 60 second left-side/60 second right-side exercises were particularly difficult for me, having a non-adjustable kettlebell weighing in at 25 lbs. It helped me physically and mentally to turn those into 30 second left-side/30 second right-side (x2) sets, instead. With no other alternations or breaks, I made it through the whole routine just fine :)
