I miss the move to option that was available in Windows 10.

The "move to" and "copy to" options in Windows 10 were much more intuitive and easier to use than the W11 method.

Didn't help at all. They need to bring back the "move to" option. I have to many file layer and drag and drop won't work.

CMN SNZE dont ever take away the move option. literally the most fundamental thing in the existence of windows. like why?

OK I figured it out and successfully moved dozens of unorganized DOWNLOADS files into specific folders I created under PICTURES in Windows 11. Initially, I could not get two windows (Downloads and Pictures) to stay open at the same time to allow Dropping and Dragging. I could open Downloads and Pictures and have them display on my screen, but as soon as I attempted to highlight DOWNLOADS files, the other open window would close. I started using the CONTROL KEY. Holding the Control key down when I clicked onto a DOWNLOADS file prevented the PICTURES window from closing. I then successfully dragged bunches of files and dropped them into specific files inside Pictures. Color me happy.

I need to move an entire sub folder to a different folder. Is that possible?
