During these crazy times, I have felt so many different emotions, I have laughed, and I have cried. Rob and I are self employed musicians and we have lost most, if not all of our work for the next few months (at least). I know there are many of us in the same boat, and it can be very worrying at times, so we hope that this song brings peace to you.
I personally have taken time to appreciate the good things, and though it feels like we have lost all control, there are many things that we CAN control. We have been forced to take a break from our schedules, but it means we can count our blessings and actually start using our time to make the music we want to, and follow our dreams.
I have had this special song by Cece Winans on my heart for a few days now, we chose it for our wedding back in 2018 (played and sang so beautifully by my brother and sister in law) and I feel so strongly that people need to hear it right now, to feel love and know you are not alone, especially whilst we’re all in lockdown and isolation.
I know my heart can feel lonely, and I can start to worry, even though I have the most amazing people in my life. But when I choose to stop and remember my faith in Jesus, remember that He is in control and that He never left, everything changes for me, and I feel peace instead of anxiety, and He gives me the strength to carry on.
