Driving From Yosemite

I spent my 59th birthday hiking in Yosemite, California. This is the drive back. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and I hope that you enjoy it and find it relaxing. I shot it spontaneously and the window isn't as clean as we would have liked. The drive to Yosemite is always stunning and especially in the Fall.

Yosemite has a special memory in my heart, my husband and I climbed up half dome when we were in our 20 which we were allowed to do at that time in the 60s….

Beautiful. Reminds me of home. I have a very similar drive to the beach through the redwoods here. Sad to see the burn scars, but nice to see it’s recovering. We use to camp at Yosemite when I was a kid. Now if you go at certain times of the year, the light will create a firefall. Back then there was the real thing. Every night in summer they pushed a huge fire over the cliff to create the then famous firefall. It lasted several minutes. It was spectacular. Thanks for the memories!

California is beautiful and as stunning as this video is I know that it can't possibly do justice to being there in person. I would be terrified to drive on that highway or road.... are there no guard rails? My hat is off to the driver in this video❤
