It’s a baby version of the boss that flies, so it was teased pretty much at the start of Natlan.

In the saurian crackers it has the face of all the saurians already, and the new map with release the flower feather clan as well as the masters of the night wind apparently, so there will be 2 new saurians in 5.2.

If you want to see the collective of plenty or masters of the night wind saurians, they’re in the saurian crackers, or at least their faces are. They’re not in the front so it’s a little hard to see them properly, but they’re all there. I also think this is supposed to be the flying dragon like boss’ species. The big green one is a yumkasaur that’s been corrupted by the abyss, and is hundreds of years old, so the other boss is probably also a saurian that belonged to the first ancient name bearer of the feather flower clan, same as chubster McGee over there. It also means there will probably be an interesting expansion to the children of echoes area, and each tribe will have their own saurian boss. At least I hope they do that.

I mean, the dragon is clearly the flower feather saurian, and it’s confirmed in the tribe quest that chubby is a yumkasaur, so I hope we get big corrupted versions of all the saurians. And I want more children of echoes area. They’re really cool, and also the only tribe to have more than one playable character as of now. Mavuika is apparently from the Scions of the canopy, and Citlali is from the masters, so in 5.3 it’ll change, but for now the children of echoes is the only tribe with 2 playable characters
