We had a similar reaction. Walking through Disneyland felt very familiar... but like something was off the whole time too. There is a lot to like at Disneyland. Less walking for one thing because the rides are close together due to not having much space to grow. Jack LOVED getting to ride Mr. Toad's Wild Ride again since Walt Disney World got rid of the ride. I love all the various Fantasyland dark rides. But Disney World just has so much to do across its 40 square miles. We will probably always prefer Orlando. But Disneyland is a nice place to visit every now and then.
