Wow you were a cop?? That's quite a departure! I lost my job as a printer her in the uk because of the pandemic. I am currently looking at painting and decorating courses to enroll. Bit nervous to start at the bottom at the age of 49 but the print trade is dead. Thanks for all of your videos and advice.

I always like using a laser level, in my opinion it’s easier and quicker than the traditional level, and as a second resort I use a plumb bob.
I also learned from a veteran wall paper Installer and to this day I use the single edge razor blades to do all my double cuts.

I share your wariness of sharp blades. I always use a pair of pliers to snap mine and not that flImsy slotted plastic snapper they supply with the knife. I learned this the hard way!
