As an FSU fan, nice work GT. Y’all played hard and made the most of your prep off season. We’re mot as good as last season, no one thought we’d be with all the lost production. I think we can still have a decent season if the right adjustments are made. This season will be the true test for this coaching staff and we’ll see if they can truly be successful long term.

I think that you guys did a pretty good job analyzing this one. Georgia Tech is better than most people thought. They have made strides over the past 2 seasons. If FSU overlooked them, then they got what they deserved. I believe that FSU will be OK, but they no longer have much room for error.

FSU's lines were dominated. While DJ didnt turn the ball over, he really didnt stretch the ball much either when it was absolutely critical, and you can tell Norvell absolutely knew he couldn't do much with DJU despite how many years of college ball he's played

When watching that game, I had the initial thought about what GT was trying to do, then went back and watched it again....I believe my suspicion is correct....Stanford, GT was trying to emulate Shaw/Harbaugh Stanford, and doing a pretty good job of it. Utilizing O-line depth and gap defense, mixed with a little zone D to keep FSU guessing, they then used the clock like a boa constrictor with a calculated rushing attack to deprive FSU offense and dictate the pace. This is how Stanford would beat Oregon and ND (better teams than FSU IMO). The Achilles heel is, a good rushing QB can pick the secondary apart, or take off running. GT may be a tough out this year. The ACC is fortunate that Harbaugh swiped half of Stanford's senior starting O line right before the NC season and right after Shaw split.

GT is better than advertised and FSU is worse than advertised. The FSU poor-to-average run blocking is going to be a problem for them this season. They could lose 1 or 2 more that they didn't see coming. They are not a pass-first offense.
