The Navigator (1924) - Buster Keaton, Frederick Vroom, Kathryn McGuire [enhanced / 4k]

Wealthy Rollo Treadway impulsively plans to propose to his neighbor, Betsy O'Brien, and arranges a honeymoon cruise to Honolulu. However, when Betsy declines his proposal, Rollo decides to embark on the trip alone. Due to a mix-up, he boards the wrong ship, the Navigator, recently sold to a nation at war. Agents from another warring nation sabotage the ship, intending to set it adrift.

Meanwhile, Betsy's father is captured and bound by the saboteurs when he checks on the ship. Hearing her father's distress calls, Betsy rushes aboard just before the Navigator is set adrift. Lost at sea, Rollo and Betsy eventually find each other and struggle to survive onboard, devising makeshift solutions for basic tasks. After weeks adrift, the ship lands near an inhabited tropical island, where natives capture Betsy.

Rollo bravely rescues Betsy from the natives, but they soon face another perilous encounter when the natives attempt to board their ship. Escaping in a small dinghy, they are saved in the nick of time by a navy submarine surfacing beneath them, bringing their adventure to a dramatic close.
