I am a member of a local computer club. One guy was a beginner and helped him with the basics. I found that this guy didn't know Windows has updates. He used his laptop a short time a day and was a full 2 years behind update wise. He didn't know.

Most common problems that I get after formatting or Installing Windows 10 and updating to latest drivers are Wi-Fi disconnecting/dissapearing, pc not waking up from sleep, fake threats alerts from Windows Security and extremely long boot time, around 10~15 minutes to do a restart,

Also after using normally my laptop, after 1 year I start getting notifications and error codes for Failed updates, usually error codes related to full storage or full reserved storage, although hdd never exceed half of the capacity, I still manage to fix them but it's so time consuming and over time these problems becomes harder to fix

The number 1 reason I find is running Windows from a spinning rust hard drive instead of an SSD. It takes so long for updates to finish on spinning rust that way too often the update never finishes due to the computer going to sleep or being shutdown before it finishes. I never find that issue when running from an SSD. And every one of those systems that had issues running spinning rust have never run into update issues after the spinning rust was replaced by an SSD, even when we just cloned the old drive.

On my laptop, the sfc /scannow refuse to run, even if trustedinstaller is running. I wanted to fix the temporary profile issue and I am stuck without it. I won't rest until it is fixed.

Does not work because comes back with, Failed to reset Windows update due to wuauserv service failing to stop, ant ideas, tried to send a message through website and it failed to something re cookies and java which I have enabled
