Here's a young 35-year-old Frank Sinatra singing "The Birth of The Blues", arranged and conducted by Axel Stordahl with his orchestra. It was recorded in 1951 and released that same year on Columbia Records as a single on 7” 45 RPM & 10” 78 RPM and 7" 45 RPM EP. This was one of the last recordings Frank did for Columbia before moving on to Capitol Records.

Technical Information:
I used SPLEETER v1.1 to separate the components [Vocal, Accompaniment, Drums, Bass and Piano] into 5 separate tracks. Adobe Audition was used for Dynamic Range recovery, Delay, Reverb, EQ and final mixdown. NERO 2019 Platinum used to generate the video.

Composed by Ray Henderson, with lyrics by Buddy DeSylva and Lew Brown in 1926.
It was used in the Broadway revue "George White's Scandals" of 1926.

Enjoy my MONO-to-STEREO remastering of Frank Sinatra’s 1951 hit: “The Birth of The Blues”.

This is 1951. You can hear his voice beginning to change on this number to the more familiar timbre we came to love in the Capital years. His voice in the 1940's was more syrupy.
