Teammate problems only extend so far, if you are struggling finding good teammates or keeping ones you played with in the past, maybe it is time to look yourself in the mirror and ask who is really holding you back in Apex Legends.

So many people drop hot and want to push fights when their teammates don't even have guns or armor. And then the same teammates call you trash when they get knocked fighting 1v3

Ya know I totally agree. But the real problem is that a lot of randoms don’t give you the chance to lift them up and make them better... goin off solo and ditching your team, not listening to callouts or pings or suggestions that will put us on the same page... even if you don’t want to listen to me that’s FINE YOU TAKE CHARGE THEN! As long as we on the same page. I’m sick of watching my teammates die bc they aren’t listening. And, even though I’m good at it, I don’t want to lurk around the map like the prince of Persia every game just for some RP.

What about when you warn teammates about the situation you are in, and the survival chance is like10%, yet they don’t listen, get downed and quit even before they are thirsted. Happens WAY to often😅.

Me: you best not take a pot shot at them we're almost in top 2 and we can 3rd party for easy win

My teammate: _takes potshot and misses_

The other teams: suddenly become friends and rush us together.

Teammate : tries to third party an active firefight entirely on his own, running off by himself, zero communication, doesnt specify where hes going
Teammate : *inevitably dies*
Me and other teammate: start t bagging while hes spectating us yelling at us that we're trash

You are sooo right. When i play with my friends they always say im the better player in the group or they say they don't think we will win a fight. I always tell them be confident in your play style, and we end up doing really good. That slight bit of doubt can hurt your team. Also thanks for these shorts, im a veteran player at Apex and even I need to be reminder of some of these things. Keep making more of these helps a ton.

Team mates are fine, if you play with them over and over. Unfortunately, solo queuing is rough unless you're good enough to carry the team. Randos just make too many mistakes usually, so you gotta be even better to make up for it.

If you play with the two same teammates game after game you'll start getting a lot better with them and start finding success even if they're both objectively worse than you

I totally agree. The best players always try to make there teammates better.

Thank you. This needed to be said.

One should try to think from multiple perspectives because you are not the only one fighting. Even if the session is bad, losses/mistakes/etc, you should prioritise "good vibes".

I don't care to hear "it's your fault / wtf were you doing" and all that extra shit. Mistakes were made. What did we learn? Move on. Simple

Be constructive and considerate. You can't have any form of synergy if you only ever see the faults of others.

Wise men said and I quote, " ONLY FOOLS RUSH IN!" 😂

I usually only think that way when it's blatantly bad decision making and lack of teamwork, anyone can lose a gunfight and when someone goes down it's pretty understandable as long as they didn't end up somewhere we can't help them

I've had people either rush in and get themselves killed, or stayed behind to scrape up every single bit of loot possible, then get themselves killed. I typically end up as clean up crew, but I wish people would stick to each other more often

And there are teammates who intentionally be a**holes for no reason.

Plot twist: This guy was the random that was getting called bad by his teammate

That's the thing, I dont want to play looting sim. I'm the only person who actually takes any fights. If I'm not leaving then behind, we end up in the same poi for 10 minutes while they read the item description of every piece of loot they find. I cant support my team if we loot all game and they instantly die in the first fight and leave me to 1v3.
