Thanks for this short and simple instructional video, I was able to fix my range hood’s broken lighting. At first I was hesitant to do it on my own because I thought removing the baffle filters requires some unscrewing. I feel embarrassed seeing he did it with a slight push and pull. I managed to replace my range hood’s bulbs without my wife noticing it. But I told her eventually and actually taught her how to do it because I’m not always at home to do it, and I know these light bulbs go off suddenly.

unlike these replacement LEDs, the bulbs in our new Zline are permanently wired - soldered in line, and they are failing after only two months. i would love to try reducing the load by removing one, and see if the others would stabilize (like most multi-LED set ups). but it seems the only option is to unplug the connectors, which actually breaks the entire circuit. right now none of the lights work together. it's new years eve and we are cooking for our guests in the dark!

I have been searching for the same light harness kit that is displayed in this video for a year and yet to find it. I have been in touch with ZLINE customer service via email + phone and upon their recommendation ordered a light kit that ended up being the wrong one (even though I double confirmed on the phone). Where can I get the exact harness in this video? Not the newer models where it is already screwed together/integrated housings where the bulb can't be removed.

Hi, have the Faber model. But don't see any transformer under the hood chimney. Only a cable and a tiny box with no fuse. Connected directly to the PCB. No fuse anywhere. Same problem, fan works but light stopped working (bulbs are ok). PLEASE HELP what to do.

Received replacements for the lights, led power supply box, and wires. Just changed them out and its stilll didnt work. Could it be the on/off button thats not working?

We are having the issue of the lights not working but periodicaly/randomly. However the vents work 100% of the time... do the bulbs need to be replaced or is this a electrical?

There is a loose contact in one of the LED light connector. When I jiggle it it works but usually it does not. How do I get it replaced? I would like to keep it if I can instead of returning to Home Depot. Very poor LED light design

I have a similar issue with my 6 month old Z Line GL2i-30. All 4 lights blink in sequence when the switch is pressed. Will replacing the transformers fix the problem? Where do I find the parts?

I have an issue with my hood lights. Both of them stopped turning on just a couple days ago. Is it a problem with the light bulbs or could it be something else?

The electric cord that the light is connected to could be longer to make this whole procedure easier. Especially, the one on the left is really short and you can barely get the clamp on before putting the whole assembly back up.

Just replaced transformer and lights on our zline hood, they won’t stop blinking. Ugh. $50 later still not working.

Bought my range hood in June 2019. Three months after warranty ended, the lights failed. Go figure.
