Hi, I'm (was) your neighbor. My room is on 20th floor almost no damage. And I'm still living here. I heard also from other neighbors that below 15th floors (8-15) are more damages. Some rooms the front door is not even the same hard to open or close. I see now lots of ppl here are leaving and condo is very quiet. Understand you guys and I feel sorry for that. My first earthquake and worst experience too. I saw the building was swing. I was shocked for minutes, heard fire alarm sound. My hands were shaken. Got downstair and waited for 4 hrs then could go back into the building.

i’m a thai, and honestly, after hearing your whole experience, i really really admire you for still being able to say such good things in this video. I would’ve fled the country asap!
I also worry for Bruno’s well being as well. My experience with an ill pet in thailand is quite traumatic that i swear i won’t get another pet again. the staffs are just not very competent (in my humble opinion). most people don’t take good care of their pets as well.
Whatever you decide, i wish all the best for you guys and bruno always!

Advice for All in Bangkok > if Anyone claims the building has been checked out by a certified building engineer... ask to see the Official Document stating the building is indeed safe/ livable > been hearing soooo many stories of Residents being told the building has been checked out since the earthquakes last week ...no way that can happen so fast.

I live in an old building on 19th floor. It was swing a bit during earthquake but later on nothing happened. It has few small cracks in room but not inside and outside building.

Later on, I found out my condo can withstand 8.0. The son’s family of this developer also live in this building. I found out later they live opposite my room. They didn’t move out and not scare at all.

I am glad you both are safe.

Those who are leaving negative comments are clearly those who have not experienced an earthquake. I've experienced one myself while on a trip to Taipei, Taiwan. It was a 5.2 on the scale, but it was enough to swing the building side to side, and the walls were twisting and cracking. I couldn't even stand up and was falling over when I tried to get out of my hotel room. It was a really scary experience that I'll remember forever. So, trust me if I say I feel you guys. You'll get over it, although it'll take a while. Stay strong and stay safe, guys!

Earthquake in the higher building is more shaken and scarier than the lower building, as well.

Sorry to hear about your experience, fortunately I was in Taiwan during the earthquake but my condo people really is good at communicating with me. My condo is in On Nut and it probably is the tallest building in the area, it is a duplex with tall rooms, and I’m on the 21st floor. The condo unit is still in good shape with just cosmetic damages, nothing fell from the shelfs or walls. I was told that the newer condos have stricter building codes that include surviving an earthquake. Hope the new place does well for all of you.

It's recorded that last time strong earthquake in Thailand happened almost 100 years ago and it was not strong as this time in 2025. So 99.9% of Thai people had this level of experience for the first time (in Thailand) 🙁
