Removing a molded acrylic sink and installing the Franke Vector Drop-in/Undermount Stainless Sink

I decided it was time to remove my molded in acrylic sink and replace it with a drop in stainless sink. Acrylic looks good and all, but after a couple of years of normal use they start to show some wear and tear. They scratch and gouge easy and you have to be careful with hot pans and liquids. So in stead I cut out the sink and dropped in the Franke Vector Drop-in that can be found at the Home Depot.

This is exactly what I want to do in my sink. Thank you for sharing. It doesn't look to hard to do it or you make it look so easy. Well done.

Great video. I did this myself in corian and was surprised that an inexpensive saw using a carbide tip blade cut corian.

Love that new sink. Im going to be doing this soon. I had to cut my countertop to get my new range to fit. I ended up using an angle grinder and it works great just created a lot of dust even with a Shop-Vac. Nice work 👍

Did you just use the caulking to hold it in place? I've watched a few videos on this brand sink and noone shows any screws or mounting hardware being used.
