Planetside 1 vet here, and back then it was a lot of fun till there was hardly anyone on because of newer games and such. Planetside 2 gets made and it really fixed a lot of things that didn't seem right with the first game and added more to the experience. This review was honest and good. I wonder how they would feel with the latest updates, optimizing, and changes to the game that have addressed the polishing as mentioned.

I feel like there are a lot less people now than several months ago... I still see massive battles here and there, but not as much anymore. This is still an awesome game, however, like others have said, join an outfit; it will make the experience so much better.

People on PC still doesnot understand that we are just only happy that we can finally play PC games on ultra or high details on our consoles and still want to hate us. Many I've spoken to say this is like Halo meets Battlefield, but from what I see, it looks more like a combo of the Tribes series (I loved the original game; haven't tried Ascend yet) and the Battlefield series. Waiting for my slow internet to download this- I'm really looking forward to this. :)

On the ps4 version of planetside 2 it was confirmed that the graphics will be on ultra settings like pc ultra settings. It's going to looks amazing.

It consists of 3 (soon to be 4) large open continets that have tons of connected bases and regions. Each one of the 3 factions initially spawn at a central hub/headquaters called the Warpgate. Each continent has 3 Warpgates, one per faction. From here, you can spawn vehicles and drive to other places on the map, warp to other continents, or respawn on the frontlines.

Dude, the Crown on Indar is the most like place because it People love to go there as you can attack and defend properly. I am playing NC, and it is a hell of a fun to attack/defend Crown.
