Kitchen Tours - what a $12k kitchen renovation got me

In this video I give a tour of my kitchen after a recent renovation. As part of the renovation I wanted to go with something more modern and enjoyable.

Previously the kitchen had white cabinets with a black wooden counter top. There was also old floors that were glued on to other floors underneath, and the microwave was broken. As the glue was coming off some parts of the floor, stepping on it would make a peaking noise. That was a no go so I wanted to change that as well.

With the new kitchen, I added gray shaker cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling with crown molding, quartz calacatta botanica counter top, trash pull out, new sink, new flooring, backsplash, and a new microwave.

I really like the new look but I think it was expensive for the size and took a while. It cost nearly $12000 and I had to go through two contractors. The first contractor only finished part of the job and then stopped showing up 🤷 The second one was great, finished the kitchen and fixed issues with the previous work.
