welcome to candle academy Pakistan. this is the last lecture of current electricity second year physics fbise kpk board. in this lecture construction, working and derivation of the formula of potentiometer is explained.

potentiometer is used to compare the EMF of two cells and also to measure the EMF of unknown cell. potentiometer is null type resistors network device which has high degree of accuracy. it's working principle is based on wheatstone Bridge. potentiometer is also used to calibrate the voltmeters and ampere metres.
