Power Automate Desktop - How To Run Python Script. PAD

a few days ago I faced the task - How to run a Python 3 script from a flow, pass arguments to it and get the result back into the flow. The standard activity did not fit my task - I solved the problem in my own way. Let's see what happened as a result!

This is GREAT! Excellent workaround to bypass the very disappointing Python 2 limitation. This also seems to be a great option for calling API's that are not web/endpoint enabled and really need to be embedded in the middle of a Python script.

Simple and Clean! Want to use PAD to fetch data from the web and store it in a variable then run a python script from within PDA that will clean the data stored in this variable. Could you help on that?. I don't understand your if statement!

Excellent video! Do you think is possible to use pyhton script to record the time of an action in PAD? I did a desktop flow and now I need to record how long does it take every action in that flow? Is that possible using python or other tool as powershell?

I am trying to use pdf2docx from PAD however looks like pad does not see the pdf2docx module. But when i run any other simple python script from PAD then ok. Also the same converter script works when run independently on pyCharm. Can you help me?

Also, could you showcase how to run this python with a scheduler? for example, an automated flow to scrape top news from google news every morning?

Hi, I have a Python 3.7 script that compares to images stored on my drive to see if they are the same or not. Using Pillow. However I cannot get this to run in PAD as if I input the path of my .py file it will not run the .py file.

Could you share your python script .. how did it accept the input variable?

In theory, could you have the python path be on a network drive, so that you can share the power automate flow with others, and they can take advantage of the python script?

I set a variable with python exe full path the another with py file and a power shell with both variables but even is running successfully I see no results. Python ver. 3.9
