By the time you replace everything to make it like a VXL model, you end up spending more money and time doing it. 8ve done the math. And now, you get the magnum 272R transmission with the newer VXL model. In the end, it's just best to just get the VXL model IMHO. Not knockings what you are doing here though. I just wouldn't do it personally

I find myself getting after it too much on the stock wheelie bar and one wheel tries to come off the ground one one side or the other I’ve got a decent used set of badlands coming for my pede as well my vxl 3s never gave me trouble yet

I just picked one of these up for $140 with charger and battery. It was on Consignment at the Hobby shop I visited. The thing is like brand new. No scuffs on the body. I will be upgrading this thing to the max. Never use Red locktite on anything. You are supposed to use heat to remove anything using red locktite. Watching all the video's on the upgrades from you and others. I know this is an entry level vehicle, but with mods, they can be a blast.

Cool stuff man little suggestion unless you plan on putting proline body mounts, use the one from a stock slash so that the front doesn’t go under.

Hey there. Nice video, I was doing some work on my stampede and I noticed when I reassembled it that the back 2 wheels stood a bit further out from the truck. (The rear was wider than the front). Any idea whether this will affect the performance ? I'd assume not, but I'm not really sure. Have you ever had this issue?

the old school fix for the body clips was to put a plastic washer first then put the clip so it’s a even circular force holding the body down, not the edges of the clip itself😂
