She really knew how to create excitement. Every tv performance was an EVENT. The performers in that era knew how to create events.

Whitney's whole appereance was beautiful, but one of my favorite parts were her incredible legs. So elegant. A tall woman with the body and the face of a model and the voice of an angel. She had it all! No one like her.

This is how you actually dance and sing.

I remember watching this performance as a little kid live on TV. Whitney killed it! That audience was way too dry.

Fyi this is a month after the 1991 billboard awards in December . Where she sung all the man I need. This is January 1992

Queen Whitney is absolutely BOSSING IT on vocals here (as usual), AND giving us some slick and funky moves to go with it (not as usual!).
Plus she looks stunning in just about any outfit and situation. What's not to like..? Not long after this, The Bodyguard + it's soundtrack dropped, and cemented her as one of the greatest singers in history. A very special lady we will not see the likes of again. R.I.P 💔

I can only imagine had Whitney made a jazzy version of this song like the slow sultry version she began this song with.
