Kaiu Vinyl Records Holder Unboxing & First Impression

This seems to be the only video in YouTube showcasing this product so just wanted anyone who may be deciding on getting the product that it has been updated and little since this video. It now has two crossbars that hold the two longer wooden stands together. You need a regular Phillips screwdriver to scree the crossbars to it. It actually has an extremely nice packaging now. Where as in this video it looked like everything was just thrown in a box, it now has a box that opens from the top like a shoebox and your immediatey presented with a thank you for your purchase note, which is always nice. Each of wood is wrapped in foam to protect it and it comes with two sets of scree for it. One silver and one black so you can choose which color you prefer. Also comes with a vinyl cleaning cloth that was no where mentioned on it's Amazon oagae or on the box so that was a nice surprise too

We take everything on board and surely will improve the records holder.
At the moment, we are designing a smaller unit (maybe half the length of what it is now) and also thinking of having color stains as well.

What color would you guys like?
We're thinking: Black, White and Natural Wood stain.

Hi Greg. These are really cool. My issue at home though is that I physically have no space or room to actually have these things on display. Next time we move house though (as long as it's to a bigger house!) I'm on it. Enjoyed seeing your classical collection. I used to have quite a lot of classical on vinyl, but I had to get rid of them due to lack of space. Still got a lot on CD though.

Cool record holder. It would be cool for my stacks of records I have sitting on the floor that aren't ready to be out onto the racks.

Pretty cool, kind of reminds me of those ones from the 70's where you flip the record forward and they automatically move and stop until you find your selection. However this one doesn't have that option. Still very cool and beats the a plastic crate.

hello Gregory   this is a cool looking and designed record holder!  it beats keeping them in cardboard boxes or thos plastic storage crates which are ok but these look much classier and neater. cool find!       rob

Has anyone out there attempted to stain one of these? I ordered a walnut model from a seller on eBay since Kaiu is out of stock on their website, but they shipped me a natural one anyway. Seems the only way to get a walnut one now is to stain it yourself.
