If u put padding of some sort around the part where the pusher retracts and ‘clinks’ it would cut noise in 1/2 and even be used inside. Sharpen that wedge and it would work even better

I think that the folding knife isn't just any folding knife. I believe that's what is called a navaja, it's a type of Spanish fighting- and utility knife originating in Spain in the 1600's

I have one of those little kinetic splitters. They have their uses. but to split the big stuff you really need something hydraulic.
