Having those sheets of pre fab rocks for the bottom of the ponds will hold microscopic particles of food and waste since there is a backing on it to jot be able to drain steaight down, even hosing off. Regular rocks can move around to get all sides clean. Also the bottom will probably deteriorate due to organic buildup
